Officially ONE year old!!!

Eli is one year old now can you believe it!! He had his second birthday party yesterday. He took no time to dig into his cake and scarf it down. He still really wasn't that interested in opening the presents. He was more interested in playing with what I opened for him. He got lots of great stuff and this spring summer will have a blast outside. He got a ride on tonka truck, and radio flyer roadster, a walk and ride, a power wheels harley (still a little small for that one though), tons of his favorite things BALLS!!! He loves them all, but I think he had just as much fun pushing the folding chair down the hall!!

He is clapping and dancing every chance he gets. He is trying to run now and tends to get caught on his feet and falls face first. Yesterday he got his first bloody nose (thanks Aunt Cherie!) He is a pro at climbing onto his ride one toys. Sometimes if you are not watching he tries to stand on them also. His party was a success and we are a little whipped from it too! Happy Birthday Eli!!!

He got his first haircut on Friday before his birthday. He was an excellent little boy. He sat so well in the jeep and every now and then would look up at the girl and have this look on his face like "what are you doing to my head?" He no longer has hair in his face all the time and looks very handsome now!

Sledding!

Eli and I went out in the backyard for his first sledding adventure. He was a little confused at first of what the heck we were doing but he quickly realized it was fun. He really enjoyed watching the dogs run around like crazy. I did set him in the snow and he looked at me like what are we supposed to do now! I wish I was in better shape though. We didn't last that long going around the yard because mommy was tired out!

He had one party party already for Curtis's side of the family and he dug right into that cupcake. He didn't hesitate at all. He is still not that interested in opening presents but he likes to play with them after they are opened!

He is walking all over the place and getting into everything. He knows when he is doing something he is not supposed to also. He will look at us to see if we are watching (which we are) and he will reach in and look straight at us. He is a little stinker. He finally figured out how to crawl the normal way too!! His top two teeth are in and soon we will have his one year doctors appointment. I can't believe it! I have posted pictures of his cupcakes and eating them and our sledding adventure (make sure the sound is on so you can hear him laughing!)
